He later had to be recovered by a tractor as he went off the road.

I hadn't gone off-road, a BMW owner abandoned his in the middle of the road. A large drift built up behind it that was impassable. As a result, I lost forward momentum and grip and slid
to the side of the road. Let tyres down, dug down to tarmac, tried waffles but the snow filled in the empty spaces to fast, hence why I had to be dug out (not pulled) by a front loader tractor. I had gone up there to meet a guy from Hexham to sell him some tyres. When I got up there, I assisted loads of stuck motorists, mostly BMW drivers and got a 12t recovery wagon moving again. I had just got caught out by the heavy 80mph blizzard and draft BMW drivers.

Bloody BMW drivers.......
Don't worry mate, you're still my hero for selling tyres in such a daft place at such a daft time😂😂
That is true dedication to the cause of true salesmanship
Smile they said things could get worse.......so I smiled and they got worse

Haha to be fair, it wasn't even drizzling in Penrith. Hartside weather can catch anybody out, you'll find that out on the 27th-28th. :p
