Had a great time guys, thanks for letting puppy and I tag along. I'm hoping to get Buddy's repairs done before T'Pit or else I'm gonna miss out.

I've sorted a Photobucket account if you fancy looking at the pics.

Great weekend guys, as usual. Thanks to the usual suspects and everyone else, it's the company & the craic that makes a good do (oh and Hotchys superb lane recon work ;D)

:) thank you to all that came- nice to see you all again.
a big contribution to making the event what it is- that is the people, so that's all of you :)
Hope it met, and exceeded your expectations.

I always say- there are no strangers at weid dale, just friends you have not met yet.

Glad to meet friends old and new, and have a catch up.

will get some pics up when i get to repair my computer.

Balls lane is still up for grabs, and will sort a day to do this if people want to- bring waffle boards, as not to cause damage.
warren- man with tents in front garden. :D

well what a top weekend !!!!!  8)

glad to see you all there  ;D

tried to have the crack with all of you , sorry if i missed anyone out  :-\

it seemed to go well  8)

we managed with sales of the beer, food and stickers to cover the cost of the barrel and have a little left over to give to charity - help for heroes  :-*

if we had been better organised no doubt we could have raised more , but we are only amatures and still learning  ::)

i think we have the basics right and everyone i spoke to seemed to have enjoyed it  ;D

these events dont plan themselves and neither do they run themselves  ::)

most thanks need to go to hotchy of course for the loan of his acreage and for supplying the very good food (also for paying out of his own pocket for the new forum banner)

thanks also to hotchy , steve and naz (southern belle) and me for the planning and setting up of the trials course and trimming back loads of trees to make the trials course possible

some thanks need to go to 'bad' doug (puddlejumper) for the excellent trophies which i'm sure the winners will display with pride

jack (jackyboy) deserves some thanks also for turning up a day early and helping with the last minute stuff

so what i'm getting at - it's a joint effort and i think the hard work really pays off

i'm sure some more of you will help with this event next year , i would'nt like to just have to rely on just 'the usual suspects'

i know benson and jackyboy work hard on the pub meets and the midweek lanes evenings - which is starting to pay off and going well from what i see and hear

I'm sure some of you good people out there have some good ideas up your sleeves , lets hear about them , lets try them

all this we have on here started from nothing , its all trial and error , it all works on goodwill , lets see where we can go next  :)

after all - you would'nt want to be one of those people that just turns up and expects it all done for them without any feelings of guilt  :o

we're all in it together , and as with life itself , 'you only get out of it what you put into it'
it's a tough job - but someone has to do it

I'll bring you a wig baldy. Anyway I'm surprised they were anywhere near you what with all the 'natural gas repellent' you were producing  ;)

Well, I'm on a computer now, so hopefully it won't crash the same as my phone has when i've tried to write this post 3 times!!

I really do want to sincerly and especially thank Hotchy and Nick for all your organising. It just wouldn't have come together so well without you both. Ofcourse, everyone else played a part in making it the best weekend i've had this year. (better thant the landrover shows!)

Now i'll try and get some photos on. Standby...
