I have an acoustic sound deadening system fitted to the wolf -- ear defenders!! I drove to West Germany a couple of times in lightweights and 1 tonne land rovers - fortunately the queen was paying the petrol!!! So a trip down the M6 should be no problem....

Just got my ticket to go -- As the production line is closing in December this is the last chance to see defender's being built. They have even built a reproduction of the 1948 production line to keep the leaders happy. I feel I should do the trip in the wolf - but six hours (or more!!) On the M6 might be too much....mind you a picture at the factory gates might make it worthwhile! The tickets for the 1\2 day trip are £45 and they are filling up... |
