Kirkby Stephen and Brough Commercial Vehicle Rally 2015
« on: December 05, 2014, 05:58:57 pm »
i have managed to book a club site for this for next year

it is on the Easter weekend

will try to sort camping out (depending on numbers)

for admin purposes it is through the CCL forum but all leafers are welcome

this really is a top weekend - there is loads and loads to see and do - no joke its from one extreme to the other

here is a vid of the 2012 doo

if you remember i did post pics up from last year - i loved it and it was jam packed all weekend
it is held in two separate villages and at various sites in and out of them
there are a constant stream of vintage buses that take you around from site to site - so you can park somewhere and just ride around on different buses and stop at each bit, have a look and then a short bus trip to the next

so fancy it ?

put your name down - entry forms will be e-mailed in the new year - fill them in send them back see you there

  prof-pat-pending
it's a tough job - but someone has to do it

TBH Doug it's pretty easy, and fairly cheap. Your insurance probably has something that level of cover on it but go to any local broker and they will sort it. Personally I'm gonna take mine up from £2M to £5M due to doing quite a bit of work for other folk, if summat goes wrong they can sue me, insurance will cover it.........

Called in tonight to check all is OK
They are still up for it and it's an okay for camping there for the weekend as well
There are a few limitations due to being a live railway but I have said we would work with them
We can Also use the site even if we are not entered in the actual event, please get in touch if you want to use this option as I still need registration number and how many

Unfortunately it looks like Easter weekend I will be putting in a final push for an MOT on the 2a so am unlikely to make it. I am sure a whole lot of fun will be had though!

Have you got camping for the Friday night aswell as the Saturday?? I'll be interested in coming and can make Friday evening and Saturday day but not Sunday.

Also can I hide my ugly defender under a tarp or something, it's not going to fit in with the rest.
