All,
after speaking to saint nick kirkpatrick it was discussed that yourselves and the lake district land rover meet people meet up and dolanes in the dark up hartside/alston.
I am proposing saturday meeting at langwathby the shepheards pub. For 18:00 to depart for 18:30 I have an idea of a route which is the same as last years lanes in the dark.

if its the routes i'm thinking it should be finished about 22:30 - so given the usual lack of talent moments and breakdowns probably sometime in the morning so no time for sleep

Only if you were planning to Doug. I'm happy to throw down the sleeping bag in the back and kip for a few hours before heading back south. As you know its a 4hr trip in Buddy which makes it a long old days drive.

Any idea of the date yet?

I'm hoping to bring an extra vehicle too if that's ok.

A friend of mine is hoping to tag along in his S2 88.

I was thinking about putting sparklers on the cans so they're more visible in the dark. (Which by the way were acceptable for the MOT.) what do you think?

Thanks. It's mostly duct tape and wires but it definitely has a Solihull badge.
